Since I've rebuilt my top end not to long ago, and my taxes giving me some extra cash; I've decided its the absolute best time to buy some parts! So far i've purchased:

MR catback
MR exhaust manifold
HKS Super mega flow intake
MR short shift
and a Skunk2 shift knob.

Things to come in the future are:

Venom intake manifold
Lightweight flywheel of some sort.
underdrive pully
carbon hatch
and the list goes on :D

I'll have pics up in the latter part of next week.

Any suggestions on a good flywheel?

i looked at your list just my opinon dont go with the under drive pulley. put one on mine one time and i when i stoped at a redlight or stop at all i lost my ac and power steering in till i hit the gas

Yeah, I was told by my buddy from work that I'd need to get a bigger alt if I choose to run one. Its not a big priority right now.

I just need some projects to get me into my car like I was when I first got it. If I don't do mod anything to it, I'll go bezerk and buy a junk off cl.

Came from Honda to Mitsu, someone hit me in my CRX going 60. Ahah, walked out of that tin can with out a single scratch. Super lucky, I remember seeing his front end in my passenger seat.:| Anyhow, I learned awhile back thats it not plug and play if you will. Can't just but a K series into anything. But I've learned to really like the tech side of the DSM. Even more so on the 420a.

But I do miss that ragged out crx:(

Davidaham : You might want to test your alternator for how many amps its putting out because it might be on its way....also, check the thick gauge wiring for damage/resistance.

OP: You should be fine. It will take the ecu a few cycles to get use to the smaller UDP, if not right away. You will notice a little change (acceleration wise), just make sure when you align it with the other pulleys and have the proper tension or you will go through belts. I still have my stock alternator (90k) running on a big amp with no capacitor + turbo + udp...no problems yet; upgrading soon.

I did the opposite Honda to Domestic + DSM, LOL Why didn't you kick in the vtec yo?

Like Rafiel suggested, that's definitely not normal. What kind of UDP did you have? My guess is that it was either more than 30% underdrive, it didn't fit on the crank tightly, or it wasn't installed correctly.

I've had an AF/X UDP (20% underdrive) for many years now and have never experienced the problems you described.

You wont be able to use a lightweight flywheel unless you convert to a nonmodular clutch since we have modular clutches and the flywheel is attached. The intake manifold you probably wont be too happy with it as it needs modified to work to its best ability. Just port the stock one AMM has made one I believe but not sure if he is selling them. Get a 60mm Jeep TB and do the mod to replace the stock TB.

The udp usually AF/X or etc. will not cause you any problems unless your alternator is already on its way out.
