Don't want to change my 99 ecu

I've searched a lot but most threads are pretty old or not really specific.
I would like to log and do some smallish DD type upgrades.
I want to leave my stock 99 ecu in place.
I've gathered this rules out link.
Is is still possible to log and flash a 99 ecu with ecu flash/ evoscan?
If so do you use the tactrix 2.0 or the 1.3U that the evoscan site appears to steer you towards?

Yea just get EVO scan with the 2.0 cable and good to go. That is what I use.

Forgot to say if you don't want to flash tune later the 1.3 will do just fine for logging as it logs quicker I hear.

Thanks for the information 2Gst98. I became confused trying to understand the product compatibility section of the Evoscan website. I hope to be able to do some basic tuning.

Using the 2.0 cable you will also be able to use CeddyMods to flash your ECU if you plan on upgrading your car later on, it is free unless you wish to use speed density then it costs around 20 bucks or so.
