Dome lights and reverse lights dont work, replaced bulbs, fuses?

My dome lights wont come on when I open the door and the reading lamp lights dont work also. I replaced all the bulbs. Can someone tell me which fuses to check?

Same with my reverse lights, I put new bulbs in and they still dont work. Where are the fuses for these?

i havent had a chance to look and mess with my fuses since i bought my dsm but if you check your fuses and they are good or if they get replaced and still dont work you might have a short somewhere. and having a malfunction like that it could either be a short at the begining of the wire bundle or alot of them everywhere.

Okay thanks man. I guess im just going to have to check ALL the fuses.

Anyone know about the reverse lights though?

Replaced ALL FUSES. Still doesnt work.

i bought a haynes manual when i got my car and read through it they had a section in it about the backup lights and stuff. so if you got one it could help.

ugh this is pissing me off. I really dont know what else it could be. Brand new fuses and bulbs and they still dont work when I open the door and the reading lamps don't.


Anyone have a suggestion?

i know every so often my lights do not come on. i have to wiggle the little button switch thing on the door frame and they come on. i dont know about your reading lamps though

okay reverse lights are fixed, I dont know how but they just magically started working. .


Now for the switch in the door where exactly is it located?

The switch is just in the door jam, it just pops out when the door is opened to turn on the lights.
And for your back up lights the is a sensor on the transmission that can go bad or might be lose.

yeah the back lights work. Ill look at it tomarrow. On sundays i spend the whole day working on the dsm hahaha
