I've searched for users who may have done this, but no luck. Not looking for hug horsepower gains, but I wanted to do the following to my future Spyder GS:

7 bolt 4G63T head
Comp 101100s
Custom SMIM with long runners
Custom Unequal length headers
2.5" exhaust including high flow cat and vibrant stealth muffler
450cc injectors
19" wheels 225/40/19 tires
Coil Overs

That's all I can think of right now. I'm just looking for opinions.

Oh, 1990AWD LOL. I'm still going to do an all motor 4G64, Urban. The only thing that might change is time periods. I was dead set on the all motor until I found a GST Spyder for around the same price.

yeah but your doing a preemptive thread for a build for a car that you dont have, nor have even decided which platform you are going to build on, figure this.... 200 MAX hp on an all motor 4g64 or 400+ on a boosted 4g63. Personally you cant go wrong with an already boosted 4g63, and the only reason id see it fit to get a 4g64 with a 2g head would be if you WERE TURBOING IT..... therefore not all motor, and it even sounds like you either have or have plans for an HX35, which if you have been, might as well do it or stroke a GST as i said before; if your lower end torque is a big deal to you. once you get the boost addiction it doesn't stop, don't bother with all motor unless you go for a muscle car, your posting in a forum full of turbo guys :p

Lol, the all motor is still happening, don't get depressed. The torque isn't that important though. Trust me, I am addicted to boost, but I like a challenge and like it even more to know that no one else has done it. I posted for opinions and recommendations. Turbocharging it would just be the easy way out for the hp, kinda like swapping SR in place of the KA if I were a 240sx guy. Just trying to stand out. I appreciate everyone not saying "just buy a gst/gsx." That really gets old. But if you all do have recommendations that I could use for guidance on the build, i'd accept it gladly.:thumb:

if you got the $ for it then have at it...:applause:

YOU are also the one that said you were looking at a GST the same price range.

You guys got me a little confused, im opting for the 2.4 with 1g head, cyclone intake with the butterflies opening n closing by the rpms(ceedy has that option) , hks 272s cams,je pistons 8.5-1 compression, eagle rods, 98-99 ecu, fp manifold, 50 trim garret turbo, epexi 3" straight pipe with a 3" flowmaster cat to reduces the sound. So far the only thing im missing is the o2 housing that I will like to get, punishment o2 housing with 38mm tial waste gate. This is going in a 98 gst with a gsx conversion that I did. On the 1g head im trying to put the 97-99 cam sensor where the 1g cas goes.

Also I got for the same 98 gst-x a 1g block with 2g head, evo 3 intake manifold, 1g tb, hks 272s cams, 2g pistons .20 over, big rods with arp bolts, arp head studs, cometic head gasket, oem oil pump, balance shaft eliminating kit, kiggly cranck triger sensor, fp exhaust manifold, 50 trim garret turbo, 3" apexi exhaust system

Sounds like fun. going serious all motor can get really serious, though. and more expensive than a basic turbo system. some cranks benefit from a knife-edging, some are decent enough out of the box. lighter & stronger internals like using T6 hypereutectic pistons instead of forged. It would be hard to stand on the intake manifold / exhaust header design without a flowbench, and even with one it's black magic. you would want to flow more in the RPM range that the engine spends most of it's time in. this is why some engines are peaky, and some only have power down low, and also why some cars have split runner intake manifolds. quite a few all motor guys like running individual weber carbs, which are a kind of pain to set up and tune, but the sound is something you wouldn't believe.
