Does this package include everything i need *waterpump*

hi guys

my waterpump broke down yesterday, Mitsubishi Norway wanted no less than 1200$ for a new waterpump for my 97 GSX

thats just redicolous

Well if you are changing your waterpump you will have to take off the timing belt to get to it if i were you i would order the complete timing belt kit as well. No reason to dig in there and not change the timing belt while you are down there.

well yea, im doing that too ( or have my friend who is a mechanic do it )

With that kit, your gonna have to reuse the pulley and pulley bolts. Shouldn't be an issue unless your pulley is damaged. I would also order a complete Timing Belt and Balance Shaft belt replacement kit with a new hydro tensioner. It would also be a good time to order new hoses and a new thermostat with gasket if needed. Check on some sites like extemepsi or ebay for the TB kit mentioned earlier.

My recommendation is to do the timing belt and waterpump in one shot. STM has a killer deal on a timing belt kit and they also sell the waterpump.
