does anyone know how to hook up these glow gauges

okay so i got these reverse glow gauges for my gst used so i dont have any instructions and i don't know if they really work or not. i'm trying to figure out how to hook them up. i will post a pic of the wiring when i find my camera. basically it's a black box with a big oval CE sticker on it. all the wires come out of one side and two corners. one of the corners has a wire that is for hooking each of the gauge faces up. the other corner has 4 wires. one is a I/O switch, then two small ones which i've concluded is the +/- wires (one has red under tube other has black). then there is another tube that has 2 wires coming out of it. i can't figure out what those wires are for.
i tried hooking up the +/- to a battery to bench test it but i couldn't get them to light up. i think maybe the extra wires are switch wires for when the dash lights come on or something? i donno. anyone else out there have gauges and can tell me how to hook them up? thanks guys!

okay here's the pic. from left to right:
the farthest left is the one i don't know. it actually has two wires in there.
next is the negative?
then the positive?
then the switch which has 6 wires on it leading to and from the switch
and finally on the other side is the wires that go to the gauges. they each splice into the two wires in that tube.

hopefully someone out there has some instructions to how to hook these things up thanks!
