Does anyone know anything about an HE351VGT turbo?

My buddy has one of these turbos that came out of a newer Cummins vehicle. I understand that it is motor operated to increase the size from 3cm to 9cm depending on settings.
Has anyone tried to put one of these turbos on a DSM?

Maybe you mean 13cm to 19cm. Have you ever seen how large the turbine housing is on this turbo?

Justin, they close up pretty tightly.

FOUND IT:

It has to be smaller than 9cm. They VGT trucks use the vanes closed as and exhaust brake, and the 9cm housing on the HY35 doesn't act as an exhaust brake.


He says it's about 3-4cm^2 closed, and 25cm^2 all the way open.
