Dodge Stealth Missing Data Link?

Hey guys I own a 93 Dodge Stealth (SOHC) the base line model. Recently my check engine light came on so I figured I'd read the error codes from the data link connector to figure out exactly what was wrong with it. The only problem is I can't find the sneaky thing anyway. My service manual points out where it should be but I'v had no luck finding it. Is it possible that the base model doesn't come with it? anyway and help you guys can give me into finding this would be greatly apprishated. Thanks alot

Have you checked near the interior fuse box? That's where it is on my 92 stealth
