Do they make a Air Intake adapter that replaces the 2G MAS?

I've convert over to a GM Maft setup and the only reason I still have the 2g MAS is to use it as an adapter for the intake pipe and air filter. I don't want to buy another air filter + intake pipe, so do they sell some sort of adapter to put in place of the 2G MAS?

well if you get a k&n air filter it should be the same size as the pipe to the the mas.

Agreed. You should be able to find a K&N that's oval. If you have a local distributor you can try bringing the pipe in and fitting it directly. It MAY work and would save you plenty over having to buy a new intake pipe.

I already have a K&N. It would probably be cheaper to buy some sort of adapter. Would it be economic to have someone fab one up for me?

If I buy another k&N with an oval opening, then it would need to have an extended neck to make up for the MAS. I'd rather have my air filter near flush against the fender wall.

well in that case you would have to fab it or just man up and buy the pipe and filter. If you have the maft setup you only need say a 3in pipe bent in the shape of an S. Go to a local exhaust shop and they can make it for you for fairly cheap.

Jeeze, pop for the one-time $60 investment already. You ain't farming in Oklahoma. Put your old one on eBay to recoup.

my intake cost all of $30 bucks to make -
you can get 3" aluminium mandrel bent pipe on ebay for cheep.
