Do not so thick 1g fmic cores exist?

Reason i ask is, i dont want to be hacking away for hours with a sawzall to get a fmic core to fit in my bumper space. Most cores I see are 3.5" thick. I'd like to hang, cut into radiator support for piping, and voila! be done.

Or am I just dreaming?

Depends on how tall the core is. Minor bumper trimming is usually normal. That is how you make is look good. ;) Most the cores that are worth anything are 2.75-3.00" cores and the badass garret bar and plate cores are usually 3.00-3.50". Hope that helps a little.

damnit.

my buddy in my dsmclub has a DSS street core. He said it was a bi*** to trim and took a long time, and many sawzall blades. I dont want to have to go through that.

I'll take off the fogs, and trim the bumper cover, but i dont want to slave away for hours trimming the metal bumper ;)
