About to drop my assembled 6bolt block, 2g head, and 2g transmission into my car. However, before I can I need to figure out what this is and if I need it. If I do, where does it connect to? The 6bolt front cover and 7bolt front cover are slightly different...

Thanks.

I have a 1g cas on the head right now. So I can just take this small harness out entirely, then just wire the connections for this into the 1g cas, correct?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link. However, I'm still a bit confused... Some people are saying that this little guy, pictured on the first post, needs to be wired into the CAS and some people say they're running without it. Do I wire the crank sensor harness (the one near the timing belt) into the 1g CAS or the crank sensor harness that's wired to the ecu into the 1g CAS? I'm so confused. I hope it's the 2nd one cause I already took the little CPS sensor out and my engine is in...

The 1g cas will take the place of the cps. Wiring from the ecu to the cps will now be run to the cas instead.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. This seems to be the only way it would make sense, but I just wanted to be 100% sure. Thanks again.
