I was looking around for possible turbo kits and I came across a direct bolt on T3/t4 turbo. It says it fits perfectly with mitsu parts. I was wondering how this is pissible because I tought t3/t4's have to be vented to the atmosphere.
Also I was wondering how the bolt on hold up to the regular kits? Whats the major pros and con?

Anyone have this bolt on t3/t4 and like to share?

I wouldn't want to mess with any adaptor plates, if you want a real bolt-on garret kit get the AGP one.

they said this is a dircet bolt on, no adaptor plates or modifacation. seems like a good idea if it works for people. t3/t4 is a pretty good turbo

I was just reading what the description says.

-Garrett T3/T4 turbocharger
-AMS Turbo Adaptor Plate
-SS Tubular o2 Housing
-Tial 38mm Wastegate
-SS 3" Downpipe
-Oil Feed and Return Lines
-All of the Gaskets and Bolts Required to Install

oh BTW just because you have a t3/t4 kit doesn't your BOV has to vent, they are completely unrelated.

you dont have to vent a t3/t4. you can recirc on your bov and use an internal dump or however you want to do it

L2RTSIAWD i dont think ur lookin at the right t3/t4, go down a few to mid page to the direct bolt on one. it should be around the center, red bold.

Seems liek a pretty good idea

Your right I'm sorry. I wasn't looking far enough down the page.

You talking about the ones for 995.00 right?

Both kits make great power. I have the frowned upon "adapter plate" on my car and I hit 600 whp on the dyno. It flows great and spools quick as hell. I really dont see a problem with it.

I take it that you are running a "SPECIAL BLEND" or the SC-61? I am in the market for a new turbo and am looking for a good power increase.

Can you share the specifics about the turbo you are runnning in your car.

Spool, psi level, etc. If you can not explain it can you atleast give us these specifics and maybe put a name on your setup.

EX: AGP had the DRE spec 50trim I believe. Would it be safe to say I could ask for the STAMPY Spec T3/T4? :p

im just wondering how much would it cost me to bolt on a t3/t4 turbo onto my car?
my cuzzin got a brand new one from one of my other cuzzin that he was going to put onto his impreza but he crashed his impreza and now he has no more car. He is going to sell it to me cheap, the turbo is like 5 times as big as my t25.
how much will it cost me to bolt on this turbo?

I would also like to know this. Assuming a stock GSX with a regular t3/t4?
