ok, i finally got my engine complatly apart. my cylinders are all glazed and 1+3 are tapered .009" off my rings have almost a half inch gap between the ends, my crank bearings are shot (but no play in the crankshaft, phew), i need new pistons since i would have to bore it out, and my oil pan has a HUGE dent in it which dented my oil screen, and my clutch is gone (but i got a new one). would it be better for me to restore this engine, or buy a talon tsi awd from my friend for 800? the talon is a 90 or 91, i cant remember, but the engine is in good shape (i took a look at it), the body is good, but it is an automatic transmission im not a big fan of automatics, and this talon has some sorta seal that needds replaced in the tranny too, but do you all think i should rebuild my eclipse or buy this tallon? the only reason it is so cheap is because he has had it up for sale for about 6 months and no one has even asked about it.

edit: i forgot to mention this... i still owe the dealer i bought it from like 400, so if i do infact buy this talon, id have to sell this eclipse first to get the money

umm, what? ok, i understand that i spelled completly "complatly" by accident, but thats it, no need to shove it in my face, this is a serious problem im trying to deal with
