I read somewhere that Power Slot now offrers another version of its rotors with a different plating which enables the rotor to last much longer? Anyone have info on this as I cant find the name of what the coating is.

No plating will not make the rotor last longer. Where the pad contacts the rotor, it will wear any plating off. Period, end of story. The only thing plating does is keep the other areas pretty.

Yep..zinc plating on a rotor keeps it from rusting. That's a must..I got some new Brembo rotors without knowing about zinc. They were rusted in 2 months

I have. That is not a coating by any means.

That is some crap where the extreme cold aligns the molecules for increased durability... blah, blah, blah.

Everyone agree? HA!

My input would be regular blank rotors and a nice set of pads.. hawks or something along those lines. But Powerslots or Brembo are decent fancy rotors.

i run brembo blanks on my accord. not gonna claim i noticed a difference in braking...that's almost entirely about the pad, unless you change rotor size + calipers.

This car is exclusively a track car (primarily road coarses) so minimizing brake fade is of great importance to me... hence I was looking at slotted rotors that are durable.
