Difference in power from 14b to s16g

I want to upgrade to a small 16g from a 14b, is there a difference in power & spool,I like my 14b but I want alittle more topend.

yes it would give you more topend but you need to do all the other supporting mods and tuning

If there is nothing wrong with your 14b, i wouldnt take it off just yet and upgrade. I would suggest saving up and doing your supporting mods, ie,...fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, a data logger, exhaust, boost controller,boost guage...so on and so on. Your profile says your bone stock.With those mods and a little more boost alot of people are making great power with a 14b. I have a small 16g ported, and i love it....but you really should spend the money on other mods before just putting on a turbo and turning the boost up. Unless you want to spend some cash on a rebuilt engine....good luck.

You can put the 16g 7cm housing on your 14b and I think you would be really happy with the results as the spool on the 14b's is pretty nasty with the right supporting mods.

I'd say stick with the 14b for now......I've had plenty of fun and success with mine....but I'm eager to try out a 16g as well.

Well i have an evo big 16g and i love it. you should really get supporting mods like said earlier. I rebuilt my motor with the evo 3 big 16g though so i didnt really get alot of add ons. just boost gauge 3" full exauhst no cat, stock fuel and boost regulator and a fp255lph fuel pump. bored .20 over port n polished head and fidanza 2.1 kevlar clutch kit. and it hasnt done me wrong. except a few relays acting up and my abs going out.
