have you bought from them?
someone is selling the same here in the classifieds....and will paint them too

JJAY, man, there has to be better looking CHEAPER floor mats then that. but if you have the money, go for it, but I wouldn't spend that kinda money on something you put your feet on...

hell...you say that now...then you spill some crap in your car

or when your gf/friends try to enter you car with muddy shoes...

i myself wouldn't let them in...but i'll get it good from my gf if i said no.

Guys, read the auction carefully. You have to send in a template of your factory mats. They won't sit right if you make an exact replica of your factory mats out of metal. We have over 80 applications of diamond plate mats, and very rarely is the diamond plate version a copy of the factory mat. Factory mats will bend and conform to bumps/dips in the floor. The metal mats will not, and if you make an exact copy, they will not sit flat. When we do it, we use the factory mats as a baseline template then trim and ad to the cardboard template after fitting it into the car. We would never develop an application for a car without having that car present for test fitting.

I don't have the mats in my car, but I saw them on ebay looking for cheap aluminum mats. Most Aluminum mats I have seen sale for $170.00. I also saw some once for $90.00. A guy bought them for his car and sold his car and had them left over. I thought $75.00 was somewhat reasonable for the look, but maybe not the quality.
I just depends on how bad you want the look..........I guess. Right now though I really shouldn't be worrying about any accesories being that I have a R.I.P. Transmission. My car is sitting in the backyard looking cool and going nowhere:cry: . I hate to say it but I almost wish I had my Riced out Toyota Celica that was really tricked out. Anyway........I wasn't trying to mislead anybody.

sorry, but I just wouldn't spend that much for floor mats, my car didn't come with any either and it kinda sucks. I went to the junkyard and was looking around for stuff there, I needed the clips that go around the intake box to keep my K&N on, and I saw some stock floor mats that weren't bad at all, but they were soaked in gas and other stuff, it was disheartening, but that's what i want I think, or just reg. rubber ones, just as effective i'd say. my opinion:)

I know what you mean Sand14s. Going to the Junkyard can be a good/nightmare experience. Sometimes you can see the part/parts you need, then you see a shell of the car you have, sometimes with some really nice options on it, but beat to Hell. It makes you wonder if the person really appreciated it when they had it. I used to go to the Junkyard all the time for parts for my 1991 Celica. I saw some seats once that were leather and was thinking about getting rid of my stock cloth seats until..............I saw all the mold and mildew growing on the backside of the almost like new leather. The car sitting outside in a junkyard with no windows let it open to the elements and ruined the seats...................what a waste:(

That is what people sometime say about my 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T. I have the Erebuni Combat Wing on it. Wings always equal Batman..............:p I guess:confused:

Why not just go to Lowes home center and buy Diamond plate, cut it to size and save 50 bucks LOL

Its not hard to find D plate in bulk.

Around here at least, a 2x4 sheet of diamond plate at Lowes is $59.95 You'll need 2 sheets for 1 set of mats.

Like so much of the custom stuff, I don't get them- noisy, messy, reflective, easily-scratched, and would look terrific in Mad Max's Interceptor- but I've seen them all over eBay.

Rapidly becoming the last stock Talon

ebay sells them for way cheap than any retailer :)

a full set for only 79$ + shipping :)

I was wondering if anyone had these and could tell me if they are worth getting. They look pretty easy to clean and they would go with my interior.

I don't know how hot they get but I know I wouldn't have them here where it's over 100 degrees.

all of the ones that i have seen arent real diamond plate metal they are plactic lookalikes if that helps any, i dont thinks that the plastic would get as hot a real metal but still hot enough to cook your feet.

I had them in my 96 with blue neon shining down on them. Very cool at night! You can make them yourself. Go to a machine/fab shop and pick up a 4X4 foot sheet of diamond plate. use your factory mats as a template and then cut it using a wood blade on a Skil saw. Aluminum is very soft so its easy to cut. Then you just use trial and error to get the bends right. You'll have to use your feet to do it though. Good luck with it. It looks awsome when its done!

for those of you who have made them, do they scratch really easy?? i mean dirt on ur shoes, then climbing iand out of the car ect. just curious. i mean u could probly polish then every one and a while too. and also, are they bolted down, or just layin there?

thanx
