These are my noob attempts at tuning so far. Im looking for some advice on things that are obviously wrong or stupid, or things I may have done right.

Its a 96 talon awd, automatic

Mods:

Hard Intercooler Pipes
Apexi Dual Chamber BOV
14b Turbo (creeps)
Evo 560cc Injectors
Hallman Manual Boost Controller
Aftermarket o2 Housing
Injen Intake pipe and cone filter.
Aftermarket Boost Gauge inside
18" Mazda Rx8 wheels
Full 3" exhaust
ECM Link v3 Full
Innovate Lc-1 Wideband
NGK plugs correctly gapped
Stock 2g maf
stock pump (no rewire)

I did change the ltft variables as per wiki, have made some minor adjustments to the max timing/max octane tables (idk if they were correct) and did the mafcomp adjust afte 20 minutes of driving (raised the higher frequencies myself) and did the tps adjust. I'm simulating the front o2 because mine was not reading right. Wideband brown wire is ran to the rear o2 spot, powered off cig lighter, I calibrated it per instructions.

Also, at 5500 rpms my boost gauge reads about 15, boost est is way higher? Part throttle its 7-10 on the gauge. Creep issue is making me crazy!

im a noob, but your est afr's and wbafr are off pretty bad, curious is that ### the wb is further downstream? im having similiar issues. just rying to learn from you log. cant off much help other than i read on ecmwiki to get est boost to match real boost you have to adjust mafcomp again. find out where its at thenif est boost is too high, drop the slider and vice versa.
279hp too! nice dude. ## on your way quick for being a noob, you know way more than i. ive had about a total of 2 hours of tuning and 40 hours of reading.

You must not have half the variables I have. I dont have an estimated AFR, I have a LC1WB. I didnt have the horsepower displayed either but it is captured. Im starting to wonder if my WB always reads correctly. Also, if there is a bolt in replacement for the MDP so I can log absolute boost I would buy that in a heartbeat because the estimated boost thing SUCKS. And I have no idea how I am supposedly maxing out my evo 560's Injector Duty, when I thought you couldn't even max out 450's on a 14b?? Im about ready to throw in a 190 or maybe a 255 with an AFPR so I know I'm not running out of pump.

I just wish I more clearly understood this program and tuning in general. The lightbulb hasn't quite fully went off, and I have buddies who know ECM Link well but they are apparently always too busy to come fully explain it.

Idle looks good, the airflow per rev is a tad high and so is the combined fuel trim. Airflow should be close .25 and combined fuel trim should be as close to 0.0 as you can get.

For the full throttle pull you need to actually go full throttle from about 2500rpm up to redline in second gear. That will give a much better log to study.

Thanks. Its an auto, so isn't the airflow per rev supposed to be a tad bit higher?

Also, im 95% sure my alternator is on its way out, could the varying voltages be screwing up my tune? I know the fuel injector pulses can change depending on voltage.

I'm not sure if auto's should be higher, but if so I'd still get the combined fuel trim down. Inconsistent voltage could mess with things, but at WOT you should be getting close full voltage unless the alternator is really toasted.

im in the same boat burntz, its tough to get support. ive read the entire ecmwiki, probably going to post on the ecmlink forums next to get more detailed theory and answers.

my alternator was bad enough that the machine at the parts store wouldn't even spin it before it failed it haha.. thank god my brother replaced his in his 95 awd a few months ago...

It stopped squealing and less annoying, but no real differences otherwise :(
