I was told by a few buddies that a data logger was a great investment. The problem is I'm not too sure where to get one. I looked on ebay and I found this one eBay Data Logger .. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on this product and if it seems like it is A-O.K or faulty. It says it reads all sort of stuff. Do i need plug in anything else to read all the stuff that it says it can read or will it read all that just from the diagnostic port? The guys feedback seems to be decent and I guess im just afraid to get a piece of crap item. Thanks a ton guys. I really appreciate it :talon:

I've bought the same setup except color from him...I'm happy with it. It works great on my 92 Talon TSI.

i would suggest getting the one i got, although not from the guy i bought it from, dont get me wrong, the pda works great and everything, its just i paid 140 for the whole thing,.... and i ended up buying a cable that charges your pda in your car while your using it 9.99, what i would suggest, since you can find the palm IIIc (the pda i bought) for about 40 bucks on ebay, and its color, and mmcd is free (online the program i use to monitor my car) and that cable is 9.99, now all you need is the cable to connect the pda to your car,... datalog cable 9.99 on ebay,.. so in total you pay about 60+shipping,... vs 140+shipping..... for a color pda that can be charged while your driving.... ill go look for all the links and post them here once i find them

Never even thought about this OMG .. I have already ordered the other item though so well there isnt a whole lot i can do :notgood: .. thanks for the info though.. i have a buddy who is thinking about buying a data logger and i will relay this info to him though so he wont spend as much as me on one  .. i appreciate your info very much.. also... How did you mount yours?? :D just curious.

but dont use electrical tape, in warm weather it loses its stickyness

i just taped it to the lower right corner, next to the cd player, with the cable going down and around the shifter... ill take a pic after i get my car back... shes being painted YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
