when you can buy the machine for me to mold the endtanks I will start making them. Until then, these endtanks are what we can do and for your information our intercoolers are tig welded by a man who has been doing it for over 20+ years and if you would like to see some of the welds up close, let me know.. I will gladly take pictures and show you that they are professionally done.

what we need is less crappy people who have tig welded for 2 months and more people who can shape endtanks for flow.

It's funny how that "crappy design" has worked well for alot of people.

the crappy welding is mostly a dig at the rash of "shops" sprouting up in the past year that just copy everyone elses designs while laying down some of the shittiest welds i have ever seen.

my RNR exhaust is one of them, if i had known how crappy the person was @ just MIG i would have saved myself the 6 week wait and just borrowed my unlces mig welder and made one myself, instead of borrowing it to fix 2 incomplete welds on the O2 elim and a random hole just burnt through the pipe... total time it would have taken them to keep good QA and check over custom parts that go out and fix them if needed 20 minutes...

you don't need a special machine to stamp out good endtanks, just a need someone with some good ideas on how to build them, theres more then enough resources on the web and here to show you how to build decent endtanks. some australlian website thats been posted here a few times, has some good ideas that any real shop should use...

just becuase a design works, doesn't mean it works well. if i started making intercooler piping or exhuast piping out of square tubing i'd be laughed at becuase i'm just adding gross amounts of tubulence and impeding air/exhuast gas flow, does the square tubing still work, yes, is it the best design no. neither are these buschur style squared off endtanks with immediate hard 90 degree turns.

either way i'm not a fan of the FMIC, way to much extra piping creating more lag. i'm working on a Air/Liquid IC mounted in the stock battery location. minimal piping, less lag, smaller core, just as efficient as any huge FMIC :D and less riceboi hondas seeing my shiny FMIC and trying to drag race @ stop lights.

Soooo...do you have any PERSONAL experience with there core? Refer to John's post on the first page.

I have personally seen one of his cores. My friend purchased one a few months back and after weeks of waiting for it to come, the core came out like shit. I have also heard that their endtanks cracked very easily due to poor welding. Look at his price. You get what you pay for. Plus he doesn't even have his own paypal account. What a good way to do business by using some other guy's account. :thumb:

But whatever. I didn't come on here to bash. Its the truth no matter what he says. You can come here to back yourself up but those welding sucks ass. I have also read up a bit and it seems that you had a bad rep on dsmtrader before. Taking guys money and taking 1-2 months for them to receive it. Plus you created so many different accounts on dsmtrader.com trying to act like you were someone else. Don't come here and try make us look stupid.

OK, so we know the welds don't 'look' good. You heard the endtanks crack...hearsay. Last paragraph, a waste of my time to read. Does anyone have experience RUNNING THIS CORE? I, too, have read up on them...the difference is, I took the time to call them about their product. I even asked him questionsOMG ..what a novel idea. John, can we have useless shit like this deleted?

I bought a fuel pump last year and had to file with paypal in order to get any kind of response.....i did finally get it but not without effort...maybe they are better now....i wouldnt know.
Just my 2-cents,
Slick:mad:

also, I am not going to lie that we had supplier issues when we started out a little over a year ago. I started with nothing and it was hard. The intercoolers were made by a local shop when we first started out and did what they were dedsigned for and that was cooling. Now they are maded by a manufacturer who I cannot give the name of. What you see above is considered not polished and the welds are perfect and are done by a professional.. I will admit to everyone we had problems when we first started and they are fixed now. Every business has its problems in the beginning. As for the fuel pumps, ,I was going through DSMTrendz when I first started and everyone know what happened with them... they just disappeared with a bunch of money that belonged to you consumers and also me which really hurt me when it was all I had. That was a decent time ago and all supplier issues are fixed now...

WOW.... this thing has been dead for months!

i think if i keep the car, i'll be ordering one from u. i was just scared cuz u don't have a credit card account. do u have one now? if u do i might be giving you a call since i now have faith in you.

thanks alot for bringing it back :D

mike

We do have a credit card terminal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. I will also ship COD if I can get a decent deposit upont. thanks

I just bought an RnR Turboback O2 Eliminator and I must say it's quite nice. For the price, you can't beat it. I have no incomplete welds and no random holes in my exhaust at all. I read on an earlier post of Ryan's that they had oxygen problems with their first set of exhaust weld jobs which is why there were issues.

Well, the 20g arrived today. All in all, I am very pleased with the appearance of the turbo and its porting, however the porting on the manifold will need a little touchup. Josh from Darkside has been very helpful in answering my questions, and even threw in an extra flange to weld a dumptube to. The Tial gate is just that; a Tial gate. I got it with the .8bar spring. More will be added to the review when the 20g goes on. And now....the pics!!

I purchased a Walbro 255LPH HP pump from them today. I'll let you all know how the transaction goes.
