dash lights 95 gst

just bought my 95 gst not to long ago when i bought the car everything on the dash was working as it should and my three pillar gauage set up worked the way it should also. i noticed that the power windows didnt work or the seat radio or locks, so i got to changing fuses and some how grounded something out and blew the alternation fuse cause the horn to blow constanly. i pulled the relay on the horn and it made the head lights come on so i pulled that fuse went and got a new alternator fuse and put it in then the head light fuse and horn relay. after i noticed when i turned the key on my radio came on and my lock button worked so i tried the windows and they rolled down and back up so i thought sweet its fixed then bam lost my dash lights out of no where. so i changed some fuses like the hazzards fuse and got them working then my park lights worked agian and my boost gauge came back on along with every other light in the car inculding the light that makes the needles glow but the numbers on th speedo meeter didnt work nor on the tach and i tried everything to fix it

Wow! Sounds crazy! I have the factory service manuals and they are worth their weight in gold. My POS DSM needs ongoing support and service manuald help me keep it on the road. Is your wiring stocl or has it been previously been abused? Get the manuals and trace out your wiring... A necessary step but worth it.

hey guys wow sorry for crazy late reply i figured out what the problem was the guy that had it before was just stupid he put the after market gauges in the dash that you wire into the swicth and that would have been awesome if his wiring job was any count but it wasnt so i took that crap out but ive had the motorc comletely up out of my dsm retiming it installing the new turbo and cold air intake new igntion control module and new coils it was only running on two cylinders so its been a crazy month pics should be posted soon of the build
