I have a 1st gen and I am trying to figure out if the cyclone intake is better then going with the 2nd gen intake for my 6 bolt?

A 2nd gen intake would not help you at all. The ports are shaped differently. Search...

I heard the cyclone flows better. Do you think the 1st gen manifold is better then going to the cyclone?

The cyclone will only benefit you if you set it up to properly activate the butterflys, either via a wastegate or using ECMlink.

The cycline will provide you with a bit more low end power over the stock 1g intake manifold. That is pending the proper setup. And I believe the 1g intake manifold outflows the cyclone by just a bit at the top end.
