Custom Single Subwoofer Enclosure?

Hey guys. I remember seeing on the web somewhere a fiberglass subwoofer enclosure custom made to fit on the right side of the 2g trunk. This way the spare tire can still be accessed. Does anybody have a link to this because I can't find it for the life of me, but can visualize it.

did you try crutchfield? i remember seeing a company selling them on ebay as well.

Yeah, I actually bought the wooden one on ebay, but it was an ebay product ... All the screws pulled out through the wood. I need a new enclosure, so I was thinking of getting a smaller one that would enable me to access the spare tire in case of emergency and have more trunk space since this is my dd.

Somebody on one of these sites had a thread about their box that they made to fit right in that small area off to the right. I just can't find it again. Not sure if it was on here, another forum, or what, but I remember seeing it.

Thank you very much! Not the exact post I was looking for, but the same idea. The one I am thinking of had a pic of the before and after (including in between when he taped it off to fiberglass it).

Its extremely simple to do if you can follow instructions. Google is your friend. just pick a place to put it and go for it.

I think I'm going to just rebuild the one I have using better quality materials. I went to my local shop and they wanted $550 to rebuild it. I'll just look through some different threads online and do it myself. That way I can keep the two subs I have instead of trying to sell them and getting a much more expensive one that can handle the output of my amp.
