has anybody gone under the rear axle?

a few turbo back systems do it.. wonder if its possible for a local exhaust shop to do it..

I got 2.5 downpipe on it now thats a cat eliminator.. and I wanted to pretty much custom fab 2.75 all the way back out with a straight through N1 muffler.. at an upward tilt..

does anybody have theres going under the axle?

how much do you think this would run me?

Where's Palm Harbor?

If you ever want to make the drive, Miami Muffler can mandrel bend any size piping, in any configuration you want. They usually do full cat-back exhausts (2.5", 2.75", or 3" aluminized steel) for about $300.

Just so you don't confuse anybody, your car doesn't have a rear axle. Only RWD or AWD cars have rear axles. I think you're talking about the rear suspension arm assembly.

correct.. this is the first import fwd car I've owned so Im accustomed to calling it a rear axle..

hm I wish I was around there.. I'd love to have somebody be able to mandrel bend some piping for my car

My custom 3" runs under the rear suspension. I have never scraped it or had any problems with it. I got my setup with a Vibrant muffler for around $350 at a local shop.

I agree that you should go 3".

i have a custom 3in dp on mines and soon as my cars up and running again from engine swap, im going to run custom 3in all the way back, and i was kind of skeptical about the fitment of being able to fit the larger pipeing over that cross memeber behind the tire were the stock one runs, but its not too bad if you get the right degree bends... I also removed my exhaust heat shielding over where the stock muffler used to sit to help give more clearance...

Here is a pic of mine. Obviously there aren't any clearance issues.
