Hey all, i just got back my custom embroidered Mitsubishi Eclipse floor-mats done ... total cost: $45. I think he did a BEAUTIFUL job. I give full credit to him 100%.

Honestly, he sells these on Ebay, well just began to.
Type in "eclipse floor mats" and it'll pop up with these!
*Theres gray, tan, black.

My main concern with having mats in our rides is that when we get in the car, mats will always want to slide forward. Thus, what is the way to lock mats down so they won't slide forward upon entering and exiting?

Yet, I notice on the examples in the pict that one mat has a holddown hole (I'm 1G), is this a thing for the 2G vehicles to have standard in those cars?

The 2g's seem to have that standard. I actually have a buddy with a '98 GSX, and he has the hold down hole in his oem floor mat. So it is a standard.
Im thinking of doing the same with the other floor mat for passenger, that for some odd reason did not come with a hold down hole

I used a safety pin on mine and pin it to the carpet. Those mats look good does he do any other cars. I know some people were talking about ones for the talons.

CDS, i think he could probably get a stencil for a 1g and then cut along the line he makes with a white marker.
Look on Ebay, he sells them on there.

Yeah, it is exspensive.... but it's so worth it. Takes 12-14 business days. And the quality is superb! It really is, you'd think it wouldn't be since it's from Brazil, but trust me worth every dime i spent

That is the link. The original poster was very, very vague on who was selling them. Just typing in eclipse floor mats gives you tons of different options. Next time try to be more specific.

Yeah, but $80 isn't too much of an issue for me...because even though those are just floor mats i must say they do present the inside a lot nicer.

80 bucks is like almost a walbro fuel pump, a new wideband sensor, a full lube change(full syn and gear oil)... I like my extra 80 bucks to be spent on shit that help my car. I do like them alot though. I guess if i just happened to find 4 20s blowing around i would buy the mats

Why did you use his pics instead of taking your own? Yeah $80.00 for floor mats is a little high just to have them say Eclipse.

Just buy a set of floor mats at your favorite place to get them (Wal*mart, Advance Auto, Autozone, etc.) and take them to a place that embroiders shirts with a print out of your design. They'll usually be able to scan it into their computer and have them embroidered pretty quickly. That shipping cost is outrageous.

They're nice, and well embroidered by the looks of it, but that's a lot to be spending on cosmetics (especially those you step on)

They're floormats. If you think that's worth $80, let me sell you some air fresheners with the DSM symbol for $15 each. It'll make the interior nice as well. I gurantee it. Give me a month to get them out, since they're made in North Korea.

I guess you guys would have a heart attach when I told you I think mine were $130 or 140 shipped for custom berber ones (though they do look amazing in black & I would recommend berber 100% as it hides dirt so much better then reg floor mats )

When I was looking (about a year ago) no one had embrodered Mitsu stuff, think one of the places said Mitsu didn't give the rights out to their logo's. Guess this guy found a way around it

Yeah, if they're good quality $80 is cheap for custom fit floormats. Probably 1/2 of what the dealer would want.
