I assume you're going to have to run a modified T-stat housing that will route similiar to how the lower hose runs just towards the front of the engine. You're not really going to get much more room that way though.
 
Im also building a RWD 4G63, go to projectzerog.com, a very useful RWD 4G63/4G64 forum page... BTW, my thermostat housing will be eliminated using a Jay Racing -16AN outlet fitting and a remote thermostat housing bolted to the firewall and the water pipe similiar way as the water pump pipe, but under the intake manifold and a Jay Racing water pump -16AN fitting...

I am going to just build a adapter to put a 16AN fitting into a block of aluminum that will bolt to the back of the head. then i will do the jay racing water pump an fitting adapter. and use an inline thermostat.
