Current Progress

So i decided im gona tackle a few other things this winter. Im gona put off the custom sub box as i want to make sure the car is running tip top. So im ordering some new parts for maintenance. Im pushing coolant/ believe i have a leak in my head gasket so that repair is going to go under way. As well as fixing my leaking rear main seal. So i have a bit of work ahead of me, as well as rebuilding my 16g. All this will hopefully be done in 3 days time! Im starting to order the stuff tomorrow, and will be then planning on taking a few days off to get her all running.

I have recently cleaned her up though on the inside...im saving all my money for the head and ect. instead of carpet and some other things (not to mention school tuition)

Tomorrow morning i am taking the bumper off to reconnect my FMIC and reconect the piping ### i keep having trouble with boost leaks. Im gona try and actually take some pictures now (been kinda lazy in the past, but ill try and get some pictures up of the car)


Today i woke up early before work and decided to remount the front mount. I reconnect the couplers and boost leak was done...no leaks at all. Ran like a champ, so im happy with it. Left the bumper off and am driving around with it off ( i am cutting the bumper to fit a little better and straightening out the bottom.)

Here are some pics....will take more once i drop the tranny and rebuild the turbo ( prob happening around the 20th so stay tuned) .....oh and the other whip, not mine but i still get to drive it haha =)

Also soon im picking up a new downpipe....and possibly a new mani. Oh and my cruise control delete is going to happen very soon (next paycheck i think)

I really like your car! I hope all goes according to plan. I recently re-did my intercooler piping for the same reason. Gas mileage and response were improved vastly afterwards. Keep us posted!
