ok so there are a few threads about this out there but in my case my crash bar is gone. whoever had this car before put a fmic in but never ran the pipes for it so it didn't actually do anything. instead of cutting the crash bar like most people they took it out and used the bolt holes for the fmic support. i plan on getting a 16g in the future so should i try to get a crash bar or just make my own out of channel iron? im thinking that it would be easier than cutting a crash bar but let me know what you think. also my lower radiator support rusted out so i got a whole new radiator support. is this something i can do myself or let the body shop do? i would like to cut the cost of labor but i want it done right too. and should i have them put the entire thing or or just cut the lower support out of both and put the new one in?

Cutting the stocker is not so bad if you have one. If your decent at fabbing then go ahead and make one. I usually just tried to mount my intercooler so it didnt use the stock mounting location and cut the crash bar till I was happy. Or just didnt run one haha.

Ok well I think maybe when I am ready for a bigger turbo ill just fab on up and use it to mount the intercooler. What about the lower radiator mount? Do it my self or have an Autobody do it?
