call me an asshole, but it would be good for our planet to get rid of a few hundred million people
100% agreed. Personally, I could stand losing a couple billion. But, the question is, where do you draw the line? Where do you decide whose friends/relatives/wives/husbands get cut and whose don't?

If it came down to it, and I could actually be of some help, then of course I would help out. If it means survival then I'll do whatever it takes.

What if the sky fell in? There is absolutely no proof that we are 90% used. How can somebody even make an assumption like that. We don't even have a vague idea how old the planet is. We have best guesses which we guess are about 80% correct. Were guessing that our guesses are correct. Wow, real exact system of measurement.

Basically what that person is saying is totally stupid and even talking about it is about as pointless as talking about what we would do if the sky fell in. What if the world was flat and we sailed our boats right off the edge and fell into space?

However hypothetically speaking if a major catastrophe were to happen, it's already proven that human nature is to help one another out. We have proven time and time again that we pull together as a nation or nations and help one another. I KNOW that we would all do our parts to ensure our survival. We have shown this in the past and would do it in the future. Time of great crisis helps normal people do extraordinary thing we never thought possible.

Obviously my point flew far over your head.

"If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all."
