I'm trying to find out if a Fuel solenoid can be converted to NOS. I'm currently looking for a large orifice solenoid (.317) to use with NOS but can only find fuel solenoids that are that large. I figured that they can be converted by changing out seal for Teflon seals and increasing the spring weight. Any ideas? Also does anyone know who manufactures NOS solenoids? Any help would be great.

Just buy a proper Nitrous solenoid. The mechanism inside the nitrous solenoid vs. the fuel solenoid is totally different. The Nitrous solenoid takes 24 amps to open and the fuel 11. This is becuse the pressure the nitrous solenoid has to hold back is much higher then the fuel (1200 vs. 60) so it must be a lot stronger.

It will work for a little bit but after a while it will fail and all the nitrous will come seeping through and guess what happens then.

Agreed. They are different for a reason. The N2O side has to hold a ton more pressure than the fuel side. I bet if you called NOS they will be able to get you what you want.
