Hey guys!

I just bought me a nice 1997 GST spyder.. and well.. some jack ass ripped my top and stole my stuff (radio, speakers, etc..)

now i have a huge hole in my convertible top and i need to get it replaced. I did some research and it looks like i can do it without taking it to the shop.. but im just not too sure yet. Would anyone have a tutorial or some step by step set up on convertible top replacements?

If not.. well if someone isn't busy this sat LOL we can make a step by step tut on replacing a top?

I have money for food, drinks, time and what not if we can work something out. I'm in the sterling, manassas, warrenton, fredricksburg, Maryland area all the time ( I wouldn't mind driving out to where you are as well.. I'm the one in need of help LOL )

anyways, GEICO won't cover it, cops say if we find him we'll do what we can, so overall I'm pretty much screwed. I put duck tape on the top and well.. LOL there's a puddle in my back seat.

Help would be appreciated!!!:rocks::rocks:

( i should also mention i have all the parts )

First of all its supposed to rain bad tomorrow so figure out somewhere dry to take the car. I guess you would have to get the new top and look at how it installs. Sounds do-able but a big pain probably. What kinda of insurance did you get on your car, just liability?

not necessarily, I'm covered under everything except vandalism, animals, and other accidents of the sort.

and yea it sucks, i have trash bag on top of the car in the mean while along with some tubs for leaks.. its a pain in the butt ill tell ya
