control arm bolts

Call me biased, but I'm not a fan of my car jerking bad at 60 mph. You should try a dealership- I needed a front lower control arm bolt and they had it, other wise check any place that sells bolts. Get the right size of course, but make very sure you get the correct grade. I know that there's difference between grades in that one will handle shearing forces better than others, but lack tensile strength, for example. If it calls for grade eight, get a grade eight, you know?

thanks for your help... i found the hard to find upper spindle knuckle bushing at suspension.com just incase anyone else has trouble locating this part... the bolt im just gonna pick up from a hardware store..

I have to ask this. WHY WOULD YOU DRIVE A CAR WITH A MAIN SUSPENSION MOUNTING BOLT BUSTED OFF???????? ARE YOU CRAZY?????? Your asking to wreck your car and maby kill yourself or worse yet the family in the minivan going the other way man!

girlfriend just bought the car!! had to drive it 2 hours to get it home.. girlfriend was driving, noticed a problem. i was in a different car.. i drove it and it felt fine.. then i got on the highway in it at about 23psi and i was like shit it's ####ed up. so it got parked when we got it home then we got new wheels and the tech noticed the broken bolt. it was still there just broken and both upper spindle knuckle bushings were trashed when i got under it tonight to fix it... believe me it aint goin nowhere but in the garage till i get the new bushings on...
thanks for being so concerned about the possibility of a family in a minivan..:thumb: i also have kids! i hate when i see dumbasses in messed up cars that could cause an accident.

Are you having trouble locating the size of the bolt? Or just finding the bolt? If you know the size, im sure the will have one here.
