i did a compression test today on my 92 talon tsi, and it reads from right-left cyilnders

115-125-135-135 is the result. would this cause my car to crank well, but not start?
especially the one that reads 115psi. the plugs are wet from gas, and I checked every thing from the "wont start chart". what do you guy's think? I pretty much know I will have to rebuild the block. I just wanted some input/advice.

thanks Terbo

Your car should still start. If the plugs are wet, is the ECU throwing any codes? Hve you checked coilpacks, trasistor pack, ecu, CAS? If you have compressoin and fuel, the only thing you need now is spark. What injectors are you running?

You can lose compression to a valve too its not just rings. I had a carbon build up on one of the seats and it heald the valve up so it wasn't losing heat and melted. I lost all my compression when it melted but maybe you have a carbon build up causing a bad seating for that valve.

ok guys, here's what happened, the wires to the coolant temp senser broke, they were very brittle it seemed like when I tried to fix them, but as soon as I fixed them the car fired right up, but I still have the power loss and the car seems to be struggling to accell.
I did notice when looking at the data logger that my voltage to the battery stayed at 13.1 volts and when I rev up the motor, it only goes up to 13.2 max, maybe this is causeing the bad performance. I let you guy's know when I change the battery tomorrow!

thanks alot for everyone's help!
