Ya, if the numbers rise significantly during a wet test like yours did on the #2 cylinder, then that means the rings are wearing/worn. Then again, those numbers arent bad, considering you have a 200K mile GST, cylinders #4 and #2 are low, the motor is due for a rebuild, but I wouldnt tear it down until it dies, why bother, unless you have the money, time and another vehicle, is there something wrong with the motor?

If it isnt broke dont fix it, but those are low numbers time for a rebuild in the near future.

Make sure it has a fully charged battery also.

There is always something wrong with her :dsm: :laser: :talon:
LOL Na, she is running o.k considering the miles on her. I haven't had no problems with the motor yet, a couple of boost leaks, excesive oil leaks! Will the rings be causing a little bit of the leaks?
The car was warm up, and at WOT :thumb:. The battery is a few months old(2), she is fine aswell :thumb:

i'm just trying to get her running hard before heave modding her :shhh:

The only leak that you can see the rings can cause is smoke out of the exhaust, most likely under boost youll get some blue smoke, depending on thier condition, but some common oil leak spots are the oil filter housing, oil pan, valve cover, and the turbo return line, thats just a few, is there oil under the car up front like under the oil pan? The piston rings cannot cause an external oil leak such as that. I see its a GST so your oil pan gasket should be easy, valve cover gaskets are pretty straight forward too.

I see alot of oil around the turbo, and the wastegate. There is some on the intercooler pipe(bottom) as well. I should take some pictures. She does waste alot of oil (1-2 qyts a week). Depanding how hard i drive her.

There is oil in front of the oil pan. And i have replace the valve cover gasket recently.
