I am undecided about what suspension to put on my car. I thought bout coilovers but they are not cheap. I like the fact that they are adjustable though. Should I go with them or just lowering springs and KYB AGX shocks? By they wat, I drive a 90 TSi AWD so I don't know if coilovers would really make a difference. :talon:

I see you live in Ohio too. Save yourself the headache and get coilovers. You'll beat yourself up in the winter when you car becomes a snow plow. ;)

You can get a set of Skunk2 or GC for a reasonable price and then swap the struts out later (you will need to).

What are you after? Extremely great handling? Just a lowered look? In-between? Convenience of lowering and raising your car?

Personally, I'd go with either Ground Control coilover sleeves or DSS Coilovers (which are made specifically for DSMs). If you can just put a bit of extra more cash, go with Koni Yellows. Even though they're harder to adjust, your body will thank you for it. KYB AGX shocks are stiff mofos w/ improper dampening and too long of a shock length IMHO. Use AGX's only if you don't plan to daily drive your car.

^^^^^^ Now that's good advise. AGXs are fine if you can buy motion sickness pills wholesale, or if the highways you drive on are perfectly smooth. ;)

Hang off a little while though. Hot Bits is coming out with real Bilstein based coilovers that might cost little more than you would spend on Yellows and coilover sleeves. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104697&page=2&pp=25

Well what would be that best for me? I live in New Orleans and the roads are horrible. The only hills we have are the non stop bumps in the highways.
