Are you trying to tell me that bad gas is related to my first problem?Thanx for the help!

Im still waiting for my ECM from the mitsubishi dealer right now,but I was thinking about the mornin all the trouble started.I did wash my motor with Engine bright(degreaser).I had alot of grease aroud the sensor that is on the side of the valve cover,on the driver side of the motor.could that have done something to that sensor that would make the car have multiple misfiring?
I'm still thiking about bad gas(not me the car).Sunday mornin My wife and I pulled into the gas station and purchased $30 worth of gas.I pulled out nice and easy normal driving about 35mph.I got about 1/4 mile from the station when in started stutterin and poppin.Would bad gas give you a 300 code? I'm just not sure about that.
Also when I got the car home I erased the code to see if it would come back again, but it wouldn't.so I tried the turn the key back and forth method and I got a 1255.I couldn't find anything like that on any of the code site or in my books.

$1200 and three days later I finally worked my way back to the fuel pump trying to figure this car out.So I pulled out my fuel pump and looked into my tank(which I filled the morning my trouble started). You can actually see 2inches of gas floating on nothing but water.I went and got a baster from my kitchen and sucked some from the bottom then sucked some from the top and put it in a clear glass.Looks like fuc--- salad dressing. So I when to the station and talked to the boss, and now I got to wait a couple days untill the inssurance guy comes to my house to tally up the damage.Unfuukin believable!!!$30 worth of water
