I have done the leak test and I only have a small leak at the idle ajustment screw. When I am cruising at about half throttle and it goes to 4k the car will jerk and sputter. Recently I changed the maf out because the previous owner took out the bottom honey comb and I guess that can make you run lean. The maf was out of a 90 turbo laser and that new unhacked maf fixed most of the problem. The other night my car started doing the jerky sputtering and then my a/f guage started going crazy all the lights would light up and like it would ocilate back and forth with five or six leds on and now most of the time it is pegged in the last light in the green. My boost has been set to 10lbs and all of the sudden I hit the gas and it goes up to 15lbs and there is no power. It is sputtering and choking untill I let off the gas. Needless to say my car runs fine in vacume.:|

Im having the same exact problem, i was recently venting to atmosphere where it started sputtering as soon as i hit about 4lb's boost. Now i installed a greddy type-s with recirculate and it is still sputtering like crazy i get no power and my boost guage jumps all over. Pleasee help thanks!

First thing to do would be to run a Boost Leak Test.
Next would be to look at the ignition system.
Make sure you're running NGK BPR 6ES gapped at .028". Make sure the plugs are not fouled. Check the resistance on the primary and secondary coils of your coil pack.
And make sure your plug wires are good.

K I logged it and here is what I got, I did this a couple nights ago and if I remember right this is a second gear pull.

I am at work so I didnt have my cradle but I have the next best thing.

Boost is set to 10lbs on evo 16g and big fmic. Safc is set to 0 every where.

Its probably stock from the factory but who knows.

I will log the baro right now and I will go get some new plugs I just replaced them like 2 weeks ago and they are denso, but I dont know the number I asked the parts guy to get me the stock plugs that arn't platnium. But I think I will get the ngk ones they are only like 2 bucks.

I did a log it was a short log in town dong a 2nd grear pull. The car had a short sputter but didn't bog and misfire.

The baro reads .83 bar and it is a solid line.

I got 5 counts of knock at 3-3.5k then 0 after that.

Why would my a/f guage go crazy some times. But I noticed when I hit the wire under the dash the leds light up when I hit the wire. If my auto meter a/f guage is grounding out then would that send a message to the ecu and make the car do what it is doing.

Also when I changed my plugs a couple weeks ago all the rubber ends popped of the spark plugs so I took them apart and spread the metal thing that plugs on to the plug and re clamped the wire on to it. I think every thing went back together good as new but I dont know could this also be the problem.

Would getting a maft and gm sensor fix the barometric pressure code?

New plugs and wires still no fix with ngk bpr 8es plugs. I also have BARO sensor code, maf, isc, oxygen sensor, air temp, and tps, and warning lights come on.

Would getting a gm mas and maft fix all these codes if my Stock mas is bad?

I also got a TPS from the junk yard but havent put it on.

Yes, I will tell the logger to read then it will show some codes then I will read again and it will show a few more codes. The Lights are radiator light, batery, one more on the bottom, I think it was the check engine light. I am not by my car now so I cant check for sure what the third light is.

the codes were barometric pressure, Maft, ISC, TPS, Air intake temp, Oxygen sensor

oh yeah The stock guage lights

Well I bought a maft and couplers from extreme psi 233 shipped not bad. So I hope this fixes my problem, I hope it is a bad mas that is the problem and a bad tps. Oh well I will see as soon as it gets here.
