ive got a new 2600 clutch with a findanza flywheel and ive tried everything i could find on this forum and it still dont work.... i got a new master and slave cylinder, taboo extended slave rod, steel braided clutch line, new fork and pivot ball and oem mitsu tob. i noticed the clutch pedal was worn out so i took it out and welded it but it still doesnt disengage. i took off the boot and looked at the diaphram while my friend pushed the clutch and it seems like its not pushing the diaphram enough... and from what i know if you have a 2600 the pedal pressure should be pretty hard, but it feels like stock. ive checked for leaks in the line and there are none, ive bleeded the system many times and still nothing. if anyone knows anything else i could try, that would help a lot. thanks in advance

What I wouldn't give to be in Hawaii right about now.............

Bleed the clutch by opening the bleeder, press the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. Close the bleeder, raise the pedal all the way up. Wait 10 seconds. Repeat. Check fluid frequently as it goes pretty fast. If that doesn't work, post it and I'll try something else as I think of it. Good Luck

Old Mitsu Tech has it dead on, i have an ACT 2600 and have the same problem. Out of curiousity though, how has the Fidanza worked out for you?

Agreed.....bleed the clutch.

I just finished installing mine, ACT 2600 ProStreet Flywheel, and the car would not go into any gear when then engine was running. I did some research and adjusted the rod as far out as I possibly could. I was able to drive the car but it would grind a lot and sometimes would not go into gear either. It also engages right off the floor. I checked the slave cylinder and noticed when I moved the rubber part away a lot of fluid spilled out of it, is that normal? I have a stainless steel line that came as part of the kit so I might try that but I'd like to know if the slave is bad? Sorry for posting in someone elses post but it was a similiar problem, free TTT I guess.

Thanks,
Sherwin
