So I have noticed this quiet squeak comming from what I thought was the belts....but tonight I find out its the clutch.

As soon as I depress the clutch pedal it OBV goes away...but whats making it squeal at idle?

worn pressure plate?....
throw out bearing? bad? possibly needs some grease?

Any suggestions?

ssounds like throw out bearing maybe it got some dirt in it or failing, if it gets worse than pull the tranny, hopefully it goes away

I was about to say the same thing. Possible throw out bearing chirping under a light load. If I pulled the trans, I would not just look at it, I would replace it. No questions asked.

Good Luck
