I recently had my ss clutch line get a pinhole in it... so a long story short it led to a new ss line, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. Now when I drive my car it will shift fine when the system is cold, and doesnt grind at all, but after I drive for awhile the disegagement gets worse and worse, to were I can barely shift (haven't been driving more than 10 miles), but there is no real grind except when I try to put her in reverse when its warm, then I cant even do that without shutting down the car and restarting it. I have an act 2600 with approx. 18-22K on it and I have searched. could it be that my buddy and I didnt bleed the system properly?? thanks for the replys

I just had my slave cylinder replaced. My experience wasn't the same as yours. However I knew it was going to be difficult to shift until everything re-adjusted itself. However it was so bad for the first 30 miles that I had to pull off the HIGHWAY about 10 times on the way home from my buddy's shop because I couldn't shift. And trust me I made sure the clutch was down completely. But yeah I just rode around my neighborhood (which has a million stop signs) for about 30 minutes until the clutch began to stiffen up and I could shift easier. Don't know if that helps but I thought I'd share my similar story.

ok thanks... I will look and see if there are loops... I think there might be one big one so if thats the case it was an ez fix. and how much higher should I adjust the engagement point?
