k i got the clutch switch and rod adjusted perfectly. it pulls now when i try and put it in fouth and fifth gear. now when i try and put it into first, second, or third gears it almost engages thegear fine but right before it does it grinds. so whats left to do bleed it more? it feels so close to bein fixed.:confused:

what exactly did you replace here? i remember seeing a thread you made about this earlier. it sounds like it's not bled correctly, or you have a leaking master or slave.

slave and master are brand new OEM mitsubishi parts with no leaks. pedal is adjusted perfectly and i bled it 30 times yesterday. the only thing i didnt change on it wasthe clutch fork it is still theoriginal one. is there a chance that replacing this will fix my problem?

thanks for the responses!

If you have two people have one check the throw of the clutch fork.. If it is moving a good distance and it moves as soon as you press the pedal then you have another issue.. WELCOME TO TRE   WE SPECIALIZE IN MANUAL TRANSMISSION REPAIR has the proper clutch adjustment and it shows the distance the clutch fork should go. If you have a problem where the clutch fork isn't moving as far as it should then you might need to give the master more adjustment or bleed the system.. Did you bleed the slave?? On the last bleed leave the clutch pedal down and press on the clutch fork pushing the rod into the slave. It releases all the air that might be stuck in the slave..

i was under the car and had someone inside. with the bleeder screw on the slave closed i told them to push the pedal down then i opened the bleeder. then closed it and told them to pick the pedal up slowly. i did this 30 times. and theclutch master was benchbled very well before it was put on.
