I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem....when I'm at a dead stop and rev the engine to maybe 4500 or so, then dump the clutch, there's some type of clunking noise coming from the rear end....it starts off kind of slow then speeds up. When I shift, pop the clutch, it does the same thing. But it doesn't happen if I don't dump the clutch. The best way I can describe it is it feels kind of like wheel hop in the rear, but it's not wheel hop at all and it sounds kind of like a rubbing/popping/banging noise. Not sure what it is??

! It's fine. That's just your driveshaft smacking around.
Ask anyone with an AWD. No need to panic...just one of the many joys of owning an AWD DSM...popped the windshield wipers on yet?
