I have been having squeaking problems, it seems as though it is coming from inside but only happens when i hit a bump on the right front side. I also hear a clunk when hitting bumps but cant seem to hear it when i hit potholes. I checked all my ball joints. The only one is the compression arm ( lower control arm NOT LATERAL ARM). I have to put alot of force and it hardly moves ( both sides do this). I was thinking it was something with my strut but i cant figure out how to check

Check the bushings on your upper control arm. Same issue with mine. Turned out to be a shot bushing. Good time for poly replacements.

just visually check? How would i check to see if thats where the clunk is coming from? It doesnt appear to move at all.

jacking up the car i was unable to find the squeak or clunk. With the car on the ground, i pull the top of the tire and feel a clunk and hear the squeak. It appears for be the upper ball joint. Would this make sense?

Easy enough. If you're worried about the ball joint, just yank the arm off quick and inspect it good. If it clunks while on the ground, I still feel like its the inner bushings. They're like an "eye bolt" setup if I remember correctly. Once the bushing goes, its basically free floating.

I am going to purchase the whole arm just to be safe. Thanks the help. Rep points if i knew how  LOL!

Usually with bushings it sounds like a clunk / banging sound. Same happens when your rear bushings go.

If you push down on the car and try id say rock it and it squeaks bad thats 100% ball joints.
