Clicking from front driver side wheel?

I have a 1g tsi and sometimes when I am turning left it makes a clicking or "thunking" sound? Is this a common problem?

Check the boot on the CV axle. Its the most likely culprit.

I checked that but the boot is intact still

Similar problem with my brother in laws integra. What we found out was that even though the boot was still intact. Use a pry bar and try to pry the axle out by the tranny when it's still connected. If it moves or makes a clicking noise, the balls inside may be bad.
Im guessing every bump you hit it also makes a clank.

It sounds like it is more than likely the cv joint but it you'll definitely want to check all your bushings as well. A bad control arm bushing can have similar symptoms.

Actually it doesn't happen on bumps. Only on sharp left turns

I would bet on the CV joint. But before you swap it check for play maybe n all the suspension joints in that side, just to be sure.

I think everyones got a general idea of whats going on. You can check it in the morning. If all is right as typed here, then you can replace it and its done!
