when i start my car the motor clicks about 3 times, it just started, I havent had somone start it while i listen but im new wit dsm's... if someone could throw some info ide appreciate it

Listen to hear if the click sounds like it's coming from behind the radio, where the ECU lives. If so, it is the beginning of the end for your ECU & your problems are going to get a lot worse soon, eventually you'll be stranded--you'll have to have the ECU rebuilt by a pro-shop.
Read at this link & then read about ECU failures at the 1000 FAQ website.

If the sound is coming from the engine bay, it's probably 1 of the 2 solenoids located directly behind the intake manifold on the firewall. They typically make clicking noises before the car reaches a normal idle. I just did a 6-bolt swap, and they sounded like they were going **ckin crazy before I got the idle adjusted right. After I got the idle down to between 850-750rpms at idle, the clicking went away.
