Okay so I just did a fuel pump rewire today. Everything went smooth and it ended up being successful. I THINK!! How do I check to know if everything is actually working how it's supposed to for the rewire? I mean the car started up just fine and maybe idled a little iffy but that was because of me reconnecting the battery. Other than that everything runs like normal and the car started up very well. That's about the only difference I could make out. Anyone? Is there anyway I can check with link?

You can check the voltage at the pump with a voltmeter. Simply put the positive prong on the power terminal on top of the fuel pump and connect the negative to your ground source. The voltage should be very close to what you read at your battery while the car is running. 13.8-14.8 is what I read on mine.

The rewire increases the voltage at the pump to very close to what your alternator puts out to your battery. Up from what previously could be 8-10 volts with the old wire.

Lol the butt-o-meter can only do so much. Thanks quicksilver that's the exact diagram I followed I think it's safe to assume it does work but I just really wanted some type of reassurance. Thanks though!
