Hey guys i have searched but have gotten several different answers from different threads. What i would like to do is check the fuel pressure on my spyder gs 4g64. Form what ive read ive seen people say that:

a) i can not check the fuel pressure with out buying an adapter for where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail.

b) I can only check pressure at the fuel filter and would disconnect the line and connect the tester there.

c) i cannot check the fuel pressure without and AFPR

d) And a few said that any fuel pressure test will hook up and work

Ive never had to test the fuel pressure before so im not sure where it should/normally hooks up to but im a little confused for the variety of answers ive found. Any clarification of which, if any/all are true. Thank you!

There is no port for a gauge. You can by a fuel pressure gauge that you can simply bolt on top of the filter. They are about 20$ or so on ebay. itll come with the gauge and banjo bolt with threaded hole on top for the gauge.

If you had the right adapter you could simply screw a tester on top of the filter where the line goes.

There are quite a few ways of testing fuel pressure. All of the ones you stated are correct except for (C).
- If you want to do a quick pressure check, I would just buy the kit at your local harbor freight.
Fuel Pressure Tester & Fuel Injection Pump Tester

This kit DOES require you to T into the fuel line.
By the way, some autopart stores do rent this tool out if you do not wish to purchase it.

-If you want to mount a stationary Fuel Pressure Gauge in order to be able to monitor fuel pressure at any given time, the banjo adapter bolt for your fuel filter would be the most cost effective way.
AUTOMETER FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE KIT 95-99 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE TURBO GST 4G63T | eBay

There are cheaper kits out on ebay, but this is the one I would recommend.

It is all up to you whether you want a cheap and quick fuel pressure test or if you want to be able to monitor it whenever you need to.
