check out this hole in my cylinder head oops

Pulled the head and wanted to know if anyone gots any idea how this monster hole was created?

Blown head gasket, possibly due to overheating and warped head.

above, and add a lean condition that acted like a torch in that spot.

That can be fixed if you really wanted to save that head for some reason, port work would be the main one. if it is stockish, replace it.

Wow that looks bad! I would find a replacement head.

At the very least you could try to get some money out of it through an aluminum recycler

Definitely looks to be from a blown HG. It seems like one of the hole was expanded by massive force. Chuck it and get a new one.

Im debating on whether to get rid of the engine now that I heard that the block has scoring just my luck .
