Check engine light only on freeway, help!!!

When Im on the freeway going about 70mph for about 15 minutes .my Check engine light comes on in the freeway and car starts bogging ,losing power and engine feels shaking but car is still drivable??? So then i drive off freeway shut off engine for a minute turn it back on the car runs fine.this happens all the time.I notice this seem to start happening after I installed the new Fuel pump Walbro 255 and before that, I installed act 6 pluck clutch, ACT flywheel and pressure plate.Could it be my new fuel pump?? This is driving me nuts and Im afraid to drive my car far on the freeway. I just dont know where to start looking for the problem??

Start by getting the CEL pulled

Yeah, get a code scanner or a pocketlogger or something to find out what the code is first, it'll tell you what is failing, then report back. My 95 ECU doesn't do the cool "flip your key between on and acc 3 times and start and it'll flash the codes", I think that's a 96+ thing?

what is a CEL and how do i get the code scanner or pocket logger??? sorry quys I'm new to the DSM world

CEL=check engine light. Lots of auto parts stores will have a code scanner available for you and they will pull the codes for you in the parking lot. A pocketlogger is a palm pilot with odb2 software on it. More than likely someone in your area will have one. Go to Autozone or something and they will accomodate you.
