cheap front mount intercooler

i want to get the side flow frontmount intercooler for my car but i only have like 600 bucks max so if anybody knows of one out there on the market that would be a great help

you can get them of ebay for relatively cheap like 100-250 depending on what size you want. but then you have to find someone who knows how to weld to make pipes. otherwise dejoon tool carries a fmic that is OK for like 500 and something and it has pipes that route to stock locations that way all you have to buy is a uicp and licp. I would say dejoon tool would be less of a hasle but ebay and some time making pipes would be more rewarding in the long run. I'm a do it your selfer type so theres what i have to say about that.

You only got limited money? You can buy a good FMIC for under 150$..

And they have PLENTY of intercoolers to choose from.

They custom make intercoolers and turbo kits I know a guy that works there he paid like $100 for a custom fit. It looks awesome. They have been recommended to me by a number of other people. The prices on the site are not as low as $100 but is is high quality work.

yeah for $500 you can get a nice street FMIC setup.I would go with one of those Jhonny racecar kits,you can probably find one including the piping for that much money.If not,don't despair.With as many sryle couplers and prebent pipes available on the market,the pipes are very DIY if you just use your imagination.I too was intimidated by this and put my Starion frotn mount in the closet till I actuallyneed it sometime next uear.But after looking at other setups for ideads i got a pretty good idea of what i need and i should be able to do it for about $100 buck or so.I got piping in the mail. to make the UIC pipes just so I start geting the hang of it.Good luck and remember you dont need a front mount bigger then the front of your car,since there are other parts of your car that need cooling as well,specially if you like road racing which involves multiple accelerating and decelarating,let the whole car breathe,not just the intake charge.

You get what you pay for on ebay. You need to look around and not be in a rush, If you know the right people.. For example, I got my complete new SBR race fmic kit with all hardware, For $500.00. Don't rush into just anything because it is cheap, Or you will be buying another one in the future.

EDIT: Actually, Why do you need a fmic already? You have a turbo back exhaust and that is all? If that's not correct, I suggest updating your car mods list, In your profile. There are better parts to buy for $600.00 , Then a fmic.. In your case anyways.

Please call Mark Seich at SBR.... I have a 1G street core with piping in my showroom, it was bolted on car and run on dyno...

It can be had for what you have to spend.

do you guys think i should wait on front mount intercooler all i have done to my car is dejon intake apexi down pipe and exhaust and i plan on running 15psi in the near future do i need a front mount intercooler?

You could still run the side mount but it heat soaks really fast. I bought a intercooler off of ebay for $180 and ordered custom piping (emailed him telling him what bends i need) $130. The total cost for everything needed to get a front mount on my car was $360 for everything. Its not the nicest front mount ever but its definitely better then the stock side mount!!!

Do you have a fuel pump yet? How about a boost controller and boost gauge? I'm not telling you how to mod your car, Just telling you the order that I would start. Although, Sbr just offered you a complete fmic kit for what you're looking to spend. If anything, I would rather that over an ebay fmic.. But that, Is just me.

I would definitely take a SBR fmic or extremeintercoolers fmic over the setup i have but mine cost me half the price.
