cheak engine light came on

car runs good but the light came on while could this be a sign of a oil change. i know this is a dumb qustion but this is my first time with a turbo car. so please help.

My car runs 100% fine and my check engine light has been on for about four months now. I thought about buying a new 02 Sensor to see if that would solve the problem, but I am just going wait until I get a Datalogger to check for the code.

It's not for an oil change.

Pull the code and see what it is, both of you.

Yeah id also check the code..i had the same problem and it ended up being my O2 sensor.

Autozone can pull the code for free, then you can look up what it means.

agreed, take it to autozone and get the codes pulled for free (the only thing Autozone's useful for)
